Reception and Admin Volunteer We are looking for reception and admin volunteers to assist us with essential office based tasks and be an excellent first point of contact for our charity. This is a key post as first impressions matter, so a friendly welcome and a genuine smile is very important. We know that with extra helping hands to collect and advertise our collection boxes we can raise even more money to support the vital work we do at Jerry Green Dog Rescue. Volunteer Dog Care Assistant To assist us in the day to day care of the dogs in our centre, making their stay as stress free as possible and enriching their time with us. Helping us to deliver each dogs individual care plans and give our dogs the opportunity to relax, have one to one time, walk, play or have a day out. Volunteer Dog Walker To assist us in enriching the day-to-day lives of the dogs in our care. By doing so, you will help the dogs to reduce the stress of being in a kennel environment. Making dogs calmer enables prospective adopters to see them in a more relaxed state, making rehoming them easier. Volunteer Dog Foster Carer To assist us in the day-to-day care of a dog, by providing a temporary, safe, caring and loving home for those dogs that for whatever reason, will manage best by being cared for away from the kennel environment. You would be required to deliver each dogs individual care plans and give them the opportunity to recover, relax, have one to one time, walk, play and experience a home environment. Some veterinary appointments, visits to our centre to meet potential adopters, or emergency vet care may be required, so your own transport is an advantage. Site Support Volunteer To assist us with essential site based tasks of the Charity, undertaking essential work such as laundry or ground maintenance to ensure that our dogs have clean dry bedding and that our sites are welcoming for everyone who visits us. Transport Driver To assist us in transporting our dogs, goods or equipment from one place to another, primarily between our five centres based in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. This will free up our Dog Welfare Assistants and allow them to spend more time enriching the day-to-day lives of the dogs in our care.
