Without the support of volunteers, we simply could not do the work we do to support dogs in need.
Whatever your interest, skills or commitment of free time; we’ve got a volunteer role to suit you.
Volunteering is flexible so you can help out on a regular or ad-hoc basis. Whether you’re helping at our centres, fostering, or helping with events, your contribution makes a huge difference.
Your readiness to go the extra mile for the dogs in our care, regardless of the distance, is deeply appreciated.

We love working with corporate partners on bespoke calendars of activity to maximise your impact as a business. Volunteering opportunities are available to companies who work in an active corporate partnership with Jerry Green Dog Rescue. Our incredible partners are given first refusal. Due to the popularity of volunteering days, we are not able to offer opportunities to companies who are looking for one-off team events unless we have large projects that need undertaking at the charity.

“The volunteers who help raise funds through retail, fundraising – we couldn’t dedicate the time and resources to help dogs like Lenny, if it wasn’t for you. This extends to our admin, laundry, van drivers and beyond. Each volunteer role contributes to each dogs’ Happy Tail. My journey with Lenny hasn’t been easy, and it would’ve been 10 times harder if we hadn’t had the support of volunteers.
