We will keep your information secure on a password protected database. We may use the information within our Charity in order to monitor and report our progress with volunteering. We will also use their information in order to send them newsletters, meeting dates and general information about our volunteering.

Because you care about the work of Jerry Green Dog Rescue, we’ll contact you via post and telephone to keep you updated about the difference your support is making, as well as keeping you up to date with the latest appeals, events and opportunities that may interest you. By clicking submit your application will be received, providing the details were all completed fully, we will progress this on to the next stage.

Stage two
A member of our friendly Volunteer Task Force team will give you a call to have a little chat about volunteering at Jerry Green and whether it is suitable for you. We will also discuss whether the role you applied for is the best fit for your skills.* . If you have not heard anything within 10 days please do email volunteering@jerrygreendogs.org.uk for an update.

Stage three
Following on from stage two, we may be asked to either pop into the charity and/or complete some shadowing, so you can have a little snippet of what it is like to volunteer at Jerry Green Dog Rescue. We will ask you to bring your references and driving license, if your role involves this. Alternatively, the volunteer team may discuss more suitable roles for your skills, should the initial enquiry not be successful, or role not be available.
At this stage the Volunteer Task Force member may book your department induction in. Keep your eye on your emails as we will be sending you some key information regarding your volunteering.
With your consent, throughout your volunteering with Jerry Green we will send updates on the charity, and opportunities you may want to get involved with.

The process may take a few weeks, so please do bear with us.

* The suitability of a role can come in many forms, and as we know you will understand, the health and wellbeing of our dogs is paramount. We generously receive many offers of welfare/dog walkers, however many dogs require specialist training and handling. Your help in other areas such as fundraising, retail or reception support us to help even more dogs in our care. These are the areas the charity really do need your help.
