Jerry Green Dog Rescue Paddock Hire Terms & Conditions

I/We agree to the following information and safe usage recommendations regarding the use of the Jerry Green Dog Rescue paddock hire area to exercise my own dog(s).

Customer must sign in via the visitor’s book and record purpose of visit as use of the paddock. They must also the note the name or names of the dogs being exercised.

Dog(s) must remain in the owner’s vehicle until they have checked in.

I have been informed and understand that the paddock hire for private use is secure to the best of JGDR’s knowledge. However, they are unable to guarantee it would be fool proof for every breed of dog in every eventuality and I therefore remain responsible for my dog(s) at all times.
I will not leave my dog(s) unattended whilst in the paddock area.

My dog(s) must remain on lead and under control whilst moving around the site until I am in the paddock and the gate is closed.

I am responsible for cleaning up after my own dog(s) and will use customer bins provided.

I understand that I (the dog(s) owner) and my dog(s) are not given permission to access any other part of the site without prior permission.

I (the dog(s) owner) take full responsibility to wear suitable attire to walk on the uneven field area, including footwear.

I will have been informed of the fire evacuation route and meeting point.

I understand that I am responsible for my dog(s) safety when using any agility, or other equipment in the field which can vary from site to site.

I understand I will be provided with an onsite radio (if applicable to the site) in case of emergency and have been informed of the fire evacuation route and meeting point.

I understand that sighthounds require a larger turning space when running and the paddock may not provide adequate space. I understand that I will use the paddock at my own risk and that Jerry Green Dog Rescue will not be liable for any injuries sustained.
I understand that I will use the paddock at my own risk and that Jerry Green Dog Rescue will not be liable for any injuries sustained to myself or my animal(s).
I understand the hire field on on the site of a rescuer centre which houses dogs with no medical history, Jerry Green Dog Rescue advises that any dogs using the field will be fully vaccinated to protect from any unknown virus.

I understand alcohol consumption on any of our sites is not permitted during the period of paddock hire.

Exempted Dogs

I/We agree to the following information and safe usage recommendations regarding the use of the Jerry Green Dog Rescue paddock hire area to exercise my exempted dog(s).

The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificated is obtained and provided at each visit should it be requested.

A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided at each visit should it be requested.

The dog is neutered – in line with Government legislation.

The dog is microchipped.

The dog handler ratio is 1:1 at all times unless with other dogs from the same household.

Your dog must remain on a fixed lead, be muzzled and under control whilst moving around the site until you are in the paddock and the gate is closed. You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured field. This applies for both arriving and leaving the site.

If the household has more than 1 dog, they are allowed to attend the paddock together as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler.
If there are dogs from different households, the banned breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all times with a 1:1 handler.

Additional Information

Jerry Green Dog Rescue advocates the use of force free positive training. Anyone found to be using punitive training or handling methods will be politely requested to refrain from doing so whilst on our sites.

Please be respectful of other field hire user’s/rescue dogs. Some dogs in our care and some who visit, to use the paddock can be reactive or nervous, so kindly stay in the car park until your allocated time.

There is no smoking policy in place, please refrain from smoking when using the field area
Bookings will be taken over the phone, in person, via email or via the online booking service.

Please help us to keep all dogs and humans safe by following these rules. Thank you for using our service, all income raised supports the dogs in our care.

By proceeding with the online booking, you are accepting the terms and conditions of our paddock hire and understand this will represent you having signed a waiver. All documentation required as per the above will be requested on your first visit so please ensure you bring this with you.
