Hi, I’m Willa! 🤍
I’m a sweet, gentle Lurcher with a sensitive soul looking for a family who’ll help me blossom. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but once I know you’re kind, my confidence grows. Having a friendly canine companion by my side really helps me feel safe (like my friend Maggie in the pics), so I’m hoping to find a home with a calm dog who can show me that the world isn’t such a scary place.
One of my favourite things is going for walks! I walk beautifully on my lead and love getting out to explore. I’d also really enjoy having a secure garden where I can stretch my long legs and relax. My dream home would be somewhere peaceful, ideally in a semi-rural area away from busy main roads.
I’m looking for a family who understands that I need a little patience while I settle in. I don’t like being left alone for long periods, but with time, reassurance and lots of love, I could gradually build up to being left for a couple of hours.
I could happily live with children aged 11 and over, or perhaps slightly younger children if they’re calm, gentle and respectful. I can’t share my home with cats or small furry pets, though.
