About me

Hello! My name is Wesley, and I’m a gentle boy who is looking for someone special to call my own. ❤️

I can be a little nervous when I come across new things, and because I haven’t had as much socialisation as I would have liked, the big wide world can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. I just need someone who understands that I may need a little extra time and patience to feel safe and confident.

I’m looking for a kind and understanding person who will let me take things at my own pace and help me discover new experiences gradually. I might be a little shy at first, but with reassurance, patience and plenty of positive experiences, I’m hoping I can learn that the world isn’t such a scary place!

I’ll also need some help with my house training, so my new family will need to be patient with me while I learn, although I have been picking this up quickly in my foster home. I’m also a curious boy who can be tempted to pick things up and, unfortunately, I may try to eat things that I find! For this reason, I’ll need a tidy, well-managed home where items are kept safely out of reach and I can be supervised while I learn what is and isn’t appropriate to pick up. This will be an important part of keeping me safe and helping me settle successfully into my new home.

When it comes to walks, I’ll be much happier starting out in quiet, peaceful areas where there aren’t too many people, dogs or distractions. As my confidence grows, hopefully I’ll be ready to explore a little more of the world.

I know I might need a bit more understanding than some dogs, but I promise that underneath my nervousness is a lovely boy just waiting to come out of his shell. All I need is someone willing to believe in me. Click the link below to apply for me🐶❤️
