About me
Hello, I’m Mary-Alice
I’m a sweet girl who’s had a bit of a tricky start in life, so I’m looking for a special family who can be patient with me while I learn to trust the world a little more.
The basics like housetraining and recall don’t come easily to me, and I still need some help building them up. But I’m a good girl at heart, and with gentle, consistent training I know I can get there. I just need someone who’ll celebrate the small wins with me.
I also need my leaving hours built up gradually. I find being on my own quite scary, so I’d love a home where I can be eased into alone time slowly and kindly.
Here’s the thing that really helps me shine: other dogs. Having a doggy friend (or two!) in the home makes me feel so much braver and more confident. I’m at my happiest and most relaxed when I’ve got a four-legged pal by my side to show me the ropes.
I could live with sensible children aged 11 and over — I’d do well with calm, respectful kids who understand I need a little time and space to feel comfortable.
My perfect home would also have a secure garden with 6ft fencing. You see, I love to explore, but I need to be able to do it safely — and knowing I can wander without worry would mean the world to me.
If you think you could offer me a patient, understanding home with a doggy companion and a safe space to explore, I’d love to meet you. I promise to give you all my love in return.
Love, Mary Alice 🐾
