About me

🥝 Hi hoomans, I’m Kiwi! 🥝

I’m one of the fruity little pups here at the North Lincolnshire centre, and I’m already shaping up to be a big, chunky boy with plenty of growing left to do! 💚🐾

I’m a little mix of Mastiff and Bulldog, so nobody knows quite how kiwi-gantic I might become! 😂 What we do know is that I’m a sweet and affectionate boy who loves a cuddle and is looking for a wonderful family to help me grow into the very best version of myself.

I might be chunky, but I’m still very much a baby, so I’ll need plenty of patience, guidance and positive experiences as I discover the world around me.

👂 A little bit about my hearing: There is a possibility that I may be deaf, although it’s too early to know for certain and this cannot be confirmed until I’m older. Because of this, a home with experience of owning and caring for a deaf dog would be beneficial, although this is not mandatory. My future family will simply need to be understanding of the possibility and be prepared to adapt their training and communication if needed. 💚

🎓 Puppy training: I’m looking for a dedicated family who will take me to puppy training and help me learn all those important life skills. I’m still figuring things out, and right now my favourite way of investigating the world is with my mouth! My humans will need to help me through the puppy mouthing stage and teach me what I should be chewing.

👧 Children: I can live with children aged 5 years and older, although we can be flexible depending on the circumstances. They’ll need to understand that I’m a chunky young pup who is still learning and may be a little mouthy while I explore the world.

🐶 Doggy friends: My siblings and I were hand-reared by the wonderful team at the centre, and we’d really benefit from having a friendly canine companion in our new home. A resident dog could show me the ropes, help me learn doggy manners and teach me how to become a confident grown-up boy. 🐾

🐱 Cats: I could potentially live with dog-savvy cats who are comfortable around puppies.

🏡 My perfect home: I’m looking for a home where I won’t be left alone for long periods. As I get older and settle into my new routine, my family can gradually build up the amount of time I’m comfortable being left.

I’ll also need a secure garden to help with my house training — and somewhere safe for this chunky Kiwi to enjoy his puppy zoomies! 🥝💨

💷 Adoption fee: My adoption fee is £500.

📅 Adoption: My fruity siblings and I will be ready for adoption on 24th and 25th October.

We’re expecting to be pretty a-peel-ing to potential adopters, so the centre can only get back to applicants who are successful.
