About me

Hi everyone, I’m Freya! 🐾

I’m a gorgeous 9 week old German Shepherd cross puppy, although nobody is quite sure what I’m crossed with. Collie is the best guess at the moment, but whatever I am, I’m certainly going to keep my new family on their toes!

I’m a lovely little girl with a very clever brain, and I absolutely love having things to do. I enjoy learning and exploring, and I’m the sort of puppy who will happily find myself something to investigate if you haven’t given me a job to do! Basically, I’m going to need a family who enjoys keeping their brainy puppy entertained because I will definitely let you know when I’m bored!

Like all puppies, I’ll need someone who can help me learn all about the big wide world. I’ll need to learn my basic training, good manners and all those important puppy skills, and I’d love to go along to socialisation and training classes with my new family. I’m going to need plenty of patience, consistency and lots of positive experiences as I grow up.

One thing my new family will need to understand is that I currently find being left on my own very scary. I can become very panicked and very vocal when I’m worried, so I’ll need a home where someone is around all the time initially. We can then concentrate on helping me feel safe and settled before very gradually building up my leaving hours. This will need to be taken at my pace rather than expecting me to be left for long periods straight away.

I’m also not a fan of being on my own at night just yet. I find it really scary, so I’d like to sleep in the bedroom with my new adopter while I settle into my new home. I’m only a tiny puppy after all, and everything is very new to me!

I could potentially live with other dogs, dog savvy cats and other animals, provided we get along with each other during a meet. I can also live with children aged 8 years and over, as long as they are dog savvy and understand that puppies can be wriggly, mouthy, excitable little whirlwinds sometimes!

I’m looking for a family who is ready for all the fun, cuddles, training and hard work that comes with raising a puppy. If you’re looking for a clever little girl who is going to keep you smiling and give you plenty to do, I could be your girl! 🥰
