About me
Hello… I’m Emmett! 🐾💚
I’m a little bundle of fun with a big personality, and I’m looking for my forever family! I’m currently 6 weeks old and will be ready to head off on my next adventure from the 5th August, when I’ll be 8 weeks old.
I’m a very special little chap because I was the only puppy in my litter. My mum is a beautiful Miniature Dachshund, but my dad is a complete mystery… so you’ll just have to wait and see what I grow up to look like! That’s all part of the excitement.
One thing we do know is that I’m growing into quite the chunky monkey! At just 6 weeks old, I already weigh 2.5kg, so although nobody knows exactly what my dad was, it’s safe to say I’m going to be bigger than my mum!
I’ve already been lucky enough to spend some time in a lovely foster home where I’ve been getting used to all the sights and sounds of everyday life. From the hustle and bustle of a home to meeting new people, it’s all helping me grow into a confident little puppy.
Like all youngsters, I’m full of energy, curiosity and mischief. I’ll need a family who understands that puppies are a big commitment and is excited to help me learn all about the world. I’ll need lots of positive socialisation, gentle guidance, toilet training, and someone who can gradually teach me that being left alone for short periods is nothing to worry about. It’ll take patience, consistency and plenty of treats, but I promise it’ll be worth every minute!
I could happily share my home with other dogs, cats or small animals, provided introductions are managed carefully and everyone is given time to get to know each other. I can also live with sensible children aged 5 years and over who will enjoy helping me grow into the best dog I can be.
A safe and secure garden will be important for me so I have somewhere to explore, play and practise all of my new puppy skills.
If you’re ready for the adventures, the cuddles, the zoomies, the chewed toys and all the wonderful moments that come with raising a puppy, then I think we could be the perfect match.
