About me

🐾 Hello, I’m Dudley! 🐾

I’m a 7-year-old Miniature Dachshund looking for my forever home. My friends say I’m a real gentleman with a sweet nature and lots of love to give.

I can be a little reserved when meeting new people. I like to take my time getting to know you, but once you’ve earned my trust, you’ll have a devoted little shadow for life. In true Dachshund style, I absolutely adore my people and love being involved in whatever they’re doing.

If you’ve had Dachshunds before, that’s a bonus, but it’s not essential. What’s most important is finding someone who understands that I can be a little sensitive at times and will be patient while I settle in.

Because I can occasionally find some things a bit worrying, I’m looking for a calm home where everyone is aged 16 or over. I’ll need access to quiet spaces where I can take myself off and relax when I feel the need. I’m looking for a home with secure fencing of at least 4ft.

I would love some doggy walking friends once I’ve found my paws and settled into my new routine. I could also live alongside small caged pets, as long as they’re safely out of my reach.

One thing you should know about me is that I really enjoy company, so any time spent on my own will need to be built up gradually and at my pace. In return, you’ll get a loyal little companion who loves being part of the family.

Oh, and one final thing… I do like the sound of my own voice! I can be quite vocal when I have something to say, whether that’s excitement, an opinion, or simply letting you know I’ve spotted something interesting out of the window.
