About me

Hey everyone, I’m Bullseye Bill! 🤠🐾

I’m a handsome Heeler cross looking for my very own forever home, and I’m hoping there’s someone out there who is just as excited about clever, active and wonderfully quirky dogs as I am!

As you can probably guess from my breed, I’m smart as a whip! 🧠 I love learning and training, and I already know some tricks including sit, down and paw. I’m also quite possibly the most excellent treat catcher you’ll ever meet! Just throw one my way and watch me work my magic!

I’m a real character and I love to play with my toys. In fact, I’m something of a professional toy squeaker! Give me a squeaky toy and I’ll happily show you exactly how it is supposed to be used.

I’m looking for an experienced and physically strong owner who understands larger, powerful breeds and is confident handling a strong dog. I currently weigh around 35kg, although I’m working hard on my waistline and gradually losing weight under veterinary guidance. I’m a strong boy, so my future owner will need to be comfortable managing me safely and confidently.

I’m muzzle trained and can also wear a headcollar, which is great news as my new family will have lots of tools to help me out and about.

When it comes to where I live, I’m definitely a country boy! 🌳 I need a rural home with no neighbouring dogs, as seeing other dogs close to home can be challenging for me. The good news is that I’m a good traveller and happily jump in the car, so we can head off on adventures to quiet footpaths or secure fields where we’re unlikely to bump into lots of other people or dogs. I’d love having a secure garden of my own too, where I can play and enjoy some outdoor time safely.

I’m housetrained and I’m also partial to a little breakfast toast in the morning!🍞 I was previously able to stay home alone for up to four hours, so with time, patience and a gradual routine, there’s a possibility this could be built up again once I’m settled.

I’m looking to be the only dog and pet in the home, although I can potentially live alongside reptiles and fish. I’m looking for an adult-only home with children over 18.

I can find some situations challenging, and some of my breed traits can make certain things a little more difficult for me. The team are very happy to talk you through everything about me honestly, including my quirks, what I find difficult and what sort of home will help me thrive. I’m a clever boy with lots of potential, and with the right person, I could make a fantastic companion.

Because I’ll need home visits as part of my rehoming journey, my new family will need to live within a 90-minute drive of PE20 2BB.

If you think I could be your boy, please click **Apply to rehome this dog** below and tell the team all about the dogs you have owned previously and, most importantly, what sort of lifestyle and home you could offer me. I’m looking for a very special person who will understand me, enjoy my big personality and help me be the very best chap I can be! 🐾❤️
