About me

Hello, my name is Buck, and I’m a very handsome 5-month-old Jack Russell Terrier looking for my forever family!

I’m a typical Jack Russell, which means I’m full of energy, personality and *lots* of excitement! I absolutely love zooming around, and you should see how fast my little legs can carry me! 💨 One of my favourite things to do is chase a tennis ball, and I’m already starting to learn that if I bring it back to you, you’ll throw it again! I’m still working on this bit, but I’m getting there.

As I’m still a puppy, I’m learning all about the world – and at the moment, I’m doing quite a lot of that learning with my mouth! I can be very mouthy during play and sometimes forget just how sharp my little puppy teeth are. I’ll need a family who is happy to help me learn how to play appropriately and understand that hands, clothes and people aren’t chew toys! The team here at Jerry Green are more than happy to help my new family put a plan in place to help me learn my puppy manners.

I’ve already made some lovely doggy friends here at the centre, and I absolutely LOVE playing with them! I’d really like to live with a confident dog friend who won’t mind my puppy antics and can help teach me some good doggy manners. Of course, we’d need to have a successful introduction at the centre first.

I have previously lived with children, but because I’m still learning to control my mouth and don’t always realise how enthusiastic I can be, I’m looking for an adult-only home for now.

I’m looking for a family who has plenty of time to dedicate to me. I’ll need lots of training, enrichment, play and opportunities to explore, and I’d love nothing more than to be included in your adventures. I promise I’ll keep you on your toes with my puppy antics, but underneath all that energy, I’m a fun-loving little boy who is going to make a fantastic companion.

My previous owners were able to leave me for around 2 hours without any problems, although I’m not house trained just yet! My new family will need to be prepared to spend plenty of time helping me get the hang of this – after all, I’m only 5 months old and still have lots to learn.

If you’re looking for a cheeky, energetic little character who will bring plenty of fun (and probably a few zoomies!) into your life, I might just be the boy for you.
