About me

Hello! I’m a super pretty 20kg Lurcher who was found as a stray without a microchip, so unfortunately nobody knows much about my past or exactly how old I am. My teeth are lovely and white though, so the vets think I’m around a year old!

I’m a really sweet soul and still very puppy like in lots of ways. I love making myself a little nest out of my bedding, then spreading all my toys around me because apparently that’s the best way to do things! I’m a playful, happy boy and I’m looking forward to finding my people and having a home of my own.

I’m a true sighthound and absolutely love to run. There’s nothing quite like getting out and stretching my legs, I’m also a good traveller and happily jump straight into the van, so I’ll be more than ready for adventures with my new family!

As nobody knows my history, I’m still learning about the world and can be a little unsure around handling. I’ll need people who are happy to take things slowly and let me build my confidence. The team at the centre have also found that I can be quite vocal when left alone, so I’ll need to be left for very short periods initially, with my leaving hours gradually built up as I settle into my new home.

I could potentially live with other calm, polite dogs who will respect my space. I can get spooked if another dog is too much in my face, so gentle introductions and respectful interactions will be important. I might particularly enjoy having another sighthound around! I cannot live with cats, although securely enclosed small rodents kept well out of my way can be considered.

I’ll need a secure garden with fencing of at least 6ft. I’m looking for children aged 11+, ideally older, who understand that I may need a little space while I get to know them.

I’m a pretty boy with lots of fun and personality waiting to come out, and I’m hoping my forever home is out there ready to help me settle in, have some fun and enjoy life with me! ❤️
