As an office volunteer you will assist the centre teams with essential office based tasks of the charity.

What skills and attributes do you need?

You will need to have excellent customer care skills, possess a good telephone manner and to be polite and courteous. You must be able to maintain confidentiality, be computer literate and be reliable and punctual.

Ideally you will be able to work alone, or as a member of a team and have experience of an office environment and previous customer service experience.

How much time do you need to commit?

Ideally a few hours a week from 8.30am until midday as this is our busiest time with our dogs.

What support will you be given?

  • You will go through a full induction to the role
  • You will go through a skills check and shadow a member of staff doing the job
