You'll be assisting us with raising the profile of our rescue locally and beyond promoting excellent dog ownership. You will also be helping us to collect donations of all kinds (monetary or other gifts) in order to provide the best care possible for our dogs.

What skills and attributes do you need?

You will need to be confident, friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing and possess great communication skills. Ideally you will be able to work alone, or as a member of a team. Putting up marquees and equipment is physically demanding and there may be a lot of standing. Some events can be long and busy so strength and stamina are an advantage.

How much time do you need to commit?

If you want to help but are unable to commit on a regular basis due to other obligations, event volunteering  may be ideal. Events are often sporadic and take place on weekends or in the evenings.

What support will you be given?

  • You will go through a full induction to the role
  • We will provide you with continuous support and guidance

What benefits can you expect?

  • The opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing ones
  • The opportunity of meeting new people
  • The satisfaction of knowing that you are making a vital difference to our funds and ultimately our dogs.
