Cornish clothing brand, Seasalt, will be giving over £30,000 this year to local charities as part of their new Charity Giving Programme. Each of Seasalt’s 65 shops has nominated a charity to receive a £500 donation and the team at their Northallerton shop has kindly chosen our North Yorkshire Centre.

Miranda Sabey, Deputy Centre Manager of our North Yorkshire Centre said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Northallerton shop - it’s fantastic a big brand like Seasalt has been able to support a local charity like us. Their generous donation will enable us to continue rehoming dogs into loving forever homes, while making sure they receive the highest standard of care while with us.”

To say thank you to the store, Dog Welfare Assistant, Amanda Greenwood and Miranda popped along to the store with our handsome boy Tank for licks and cuddles.

As well as the donation, the shop team will also spend a day volunteering with us as well as at two other charities. With its shops spread nationwide, Seasalt is hoping to support multiple charities and organisations right across the UK.

Deap Khambay, Head of Sustainability at Seasalt said: “Community is immensely important to us at Seasalt, and I am extremely proud that everyone has embraced the opportunity to positively impact more communities than ever before.”

As part of its continued commitment to supporting local communities, Seasalt also donates to charities Hospital Rooms, Mylor Sailability and Cornwall Community Foundation’s C100 Club. They fund the Seasalt Leach Bursary at the world-renowned Leach Pottery and run UK-wide volunteering with all its employees.

Thank you Seasalt!
