So the schools are closed, the kids are home all day, the schoolwork doesn't keep them busy for as long as you'd hoped, and you're running out of things to do! We're here to help! You can find lots of fun activities for the kids to enjoy below, let us know how you get on!

Create a Time Capsule!

This time might feel like it is dragging on forever, and for the grown ups it is a stressful and worrying time. But when most kids look back on these weeks in years to come, all they will remember is the really long summer where they spent more time with their family than ever before! They will most likely form some of the best memories of their childhood. So why not commemorate it with a time capsule! We have created this handy downloadable booklet for your child, with colouring, writing and other fun activities that will be lovely, and no doubt quite funny, to look back on in years to come. This booklet really celebrates the relationship between kids and their dogs, so your child can always remember how much their furry best friend meant to them! You can just pop it in their memory box or in the attic, or go the whole hog and bury it in the garden with some other treasures, like a family photo, a toy, or anything you think would be fun to unearth in a few years time! Download your booklet here.

Bake some Homemade Dog Treats!

With parental supervision of course, the kids can help whip up these really easy homemade dog treats! Find the three ingredient recipe here, and you'll be your dog's favourite person in no time! Why not use the treats to do some trick training with your dog? Of course with full adult supervision.

Take part in our Easter Colouring Competition!

Download your egg template here, print it off and get the kids to decorate it in a Jerry Green theme! That is the only rule so feel free to get creative! Use whatever materials you like! Then once you're done, snap a photo and send it to [email protected] to enter! The winner will be announced on our Facebook on Friday 17th April.

All of these resources are offered completely free of charge, in the hope they will help you and your families through this difficult time, and we will keep adding new material as we go along. If you do find them useful, we hope you will consider making a small donation to support us and our dogs through this trying period. Thank you.
