Meg and Peggy Have you seen a cheekier looking pair?! Meg and Peggy were 2 Jack Russell’s who found themselves needing a new forever home after their owner was sadly made homeless. At first they were a little bit scared so relied on each other for support and comfort – it was clear to see they were the best of friends! They soon began to relax and loved spending time with members of our North Lincolnshire team. During there month long stay with us they had so much fun and the team really enjoyed seeing their individual personalities shine. Meg was very affectionate, she loved her cuddles and munching on treats! Whereas Peggy was the cheekier one of the two who loved to zoom around our enclosed paddocks, she’d go so fast on her little legs! They both loved spending time together in our paddling pools and playing with their toys. They’d not spent much time getting used to the outside world so our team set too and trained them to walk on their leads nicely and how to comfortably meet new people. Once ready and up for rehoming, they had a lot of interest, probably because they were so cute! We were able to find them the perfect home. Their new family adore them both and they have settled in amazing. They still love to play together with toys and cuddle up on the sofa. They still love their walks and enjoy exploring the village where they now live. Their new family say: “We can’t even begin to tell you how happy and settled Meg and Peggy are. It is so lovely to see them play together. They have just fitted into our lives perfectly and we’re head over heels in love with them!” We want to be there for more dogs like Meg and Peggy who need our help for many more years to come. If you could help us to do this, we, and all of our Jerry Green dogs, would be so grateful. You can simply TEXT JERRY to 70201 to donate £1 towards our vital work, or perhaps consider sponsoring a kennel at your local centre for just £1 per week. Thank you.
