Helping your dog cope on the route out of lockdown.

Lockdown has been a huge change for our dogs, just like it has been for us!

Mainly for our dogs, it has meant their beloved humans have been around much more to spend time with them.

Throughout lockdown there has been a four-fold increase in the number of dogs that have not been left alone for more than 5 minutes a day. As lockdown restrictions continue to ease, you may be concerned about how your dog will react to finding themselves home alone more often.

Here at Jerry Green Dog Rescue we want to help! We have created a webinar with all the information you need, to help you prepare for leaving your dog home alone whilst we continue our route out of lockdown.

This webinar covers:

  • Dogs in lockdown
  • Building up home alone time
  • Enrichment and other aids to help with alone time
  • Recognising separation-related behaviours
  • When to seek further assistance

We hope this helps you plan for the transition back to normality and make the change feel much more manageable for you and your pooch! Should you find this useful, we are recommending a £5 donation to help support our rescue dogs and give them the best chance at finding their perfect forever home!💚🐶
