It is a difficult decision to give up your dog.
We understand that circumstances can change and we respect how much of a difficult and responsible decision it is to bring a dog into our care.

We would urge anyone thinking of giving up their dog to call our centres and talk to a member of our rehoming team for their advice, support and to arrange an intake appointment. If your dog has a difficult behavioural issue that is making them difficult to live with we can also talk to you about our training service at each of our centres which could offer you some expert guidance.

Once in our care your dog will go through our 7 day assessment conducted by our experienced staff and we will use our Meet&Match ® rehoming process to find your dog their new adopters.  You can contact us at any point during the process to check in with your dogs rehoming progress. We understand how hard it can be to part with your dog and we promise to respect your decision to bring them into our care. We promise to care for your dog and make the best decisions we can for their well being, safety and happiness for the rest of their lives.

No matter how desperate the situation we would strongly advise you to not leave your dog anywhere to fend for themselves as this can be very stressful for the dog and there's no guarantee they'll be found, or found by the right people.

Call us, we will do all we can to help.
