Gypsy Gypsy (previously known as Joy) was as friendly and puppy-like as they come despite being 2-years-old! She was found as a lonely stray in the South Lincolnshire area so our team took her in and made it their mission to find her the perfect home. Gypsy coped well in kennels and was a happy girl. The team would often find her chilling out on her mound of blankets playing with a squeaky toy. She was a very loving and cuddly girl who was happiest playing with her toys and socialising with other dogs. After a full health check our vets found that she had a pretty severe ear infection. So we began treatment and Gypsy was soon on the mend. Once healed, Gypsy was ready for adoption. It didn’t take long for a fantastic family to come along and after some successful Meet&Match® visits and a foster-to-adopt period – Gypsy found the forever home she deserved. Since her adoption, she has been living her life to the full. Her new family say: “We are so happy that we found Gypsy and are so thankful for all of your help with the adoption process. “She's been on her first ever holiday – see the photos below! I don't know if she'd ever been on holiday before but she took everything in her stride, including lots of different stiles to clamber over! “She has enriched our lives and we've bonded very closely during lockdown. We can't imagine life without her now.” We want to be there for all the dogs like Gypsy that need our help for many more years to come. If you could help us to do this, we, and all of our Jerry Green dogs, would be so grateful. You can simply TEXT JERRY to 70201 to donate £1 towards our vital work, or perhaps consider sponsoring a kennel at your local centre for just £1 per week. Thank you.
