Dash came to our North Yorkshire centre in June 2019 after he’d been sold on a preloved site. He was a beautiful Cocker Spaniel who was nervous and shy around new people and situations.

We soon realised it was going to be a challenge to find a suitable forever home for him, but a challenge we faced with enthusiasm! He needed a family who’d understand his ways and take the time to get to know him as he had quite a few unusual characteristics and training needs.

With time, patience and support from our Centre Trainer and the team, he soon showed us all what a great dog he could be and was put up for rehoming. The team had lots of interest in him but it took some time to find him the right home.

After some well-planned Meet&Match® visits and with outstanding dedication from the team and his new family, Dash was finally adopted after months of being in our care and he has been loving his new life ever since.
