Community Lead

What do my team appreciate about me?

I think they appreciate my creativity. I strive to develop and execute new and exciting ideas that will bring opportunities for members of the public to get involved with Jerry Green Dog Rescue, particularly events that bring families and communities together.

I feel my caring nature and team work ethic is valued. I am always willing to lend a hand and get stuck in!

My appreciation for them, they inspire me every day! Not just our wonderful team of fundraisers, but volunteers, everyone at the centres and those who care directly for the dogs with endless love and kindness. It is an amazing team to be part of.

What’s important to me about my role at Jerry Green Dog Rescue?

I am devoted to animals, particularly dogs and have such a passion for rehoming. I rescued Lola, my dog, 5 years ago and feel so lucky to have her in my life. Jerry Green Dog Rescue allows dogs, like Lola, to have their second chance and to bring so much happiness into the lives of so many, and to be part of that feels very special. My role gives me a platform to be able to generate income to continue to facilitate that process and to support the centre and the Dog Welfare Assistants.

What are my goals for the charity?

I believe strongly in the charities core values and mission. I am fully committed to raising the profile of the charity and educating the public in matters pertaining to dog welfare.

I hope to deliver an events calendar that will raise lots of money, but also be lots of fun for the public!
