What do my team appreciate about me?

I have a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through working in both the private and third sector. I have owned my own business, been a previous Trustee for Jerry Green Dog Rescue and more latterly, involved with the inception of a local charity supporting employment for disadvantaged adults. I consider myself to be a ‘people person’ and seek always to support staff, listen to their ideas and provide guidance; I think my team appreciate this and my ability to make decisions that I am prepared to stand by.

What’s important to me about my role at Jerry Green Dog Rescue?

My family’s very first dog was Mollie, a Jerry Green Dog; adopting her was an amazing experience and our lives were enriched by her presence. Over the years we have continued to adopt rescue dogs all of whom have been great characters and brought so much more to us than we to them, our current dog Barney is no exception to this! By working at Jerry Greens’ I am able, in some small way, to contribute to the ongoing dedication and support of all our staff and volunteers, working to achieve positive outcomes for the dogs in our care.

What are my goals for the Charity?

My goals for the Charity are:

  • for the Charity to build on its strength and expertise, so clearly demonstrated on a daily basis
  • for the Charity to operate sustainably and continue to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Re-home hundreds of dogs each year
  • to enable all staff to reach their full potential in their given role
