Benji was originally bought from a puppy farm by his first owners, he later came to our East Yorkshire centre in September 2018 as his owner had become poorly and sadly couldn’t look after him anymore.

When with us, Benji became nervous around people and dogs when on walks so this meant he needed slower introductions to potential adopters. The East Yorkshire team did a lot of work with him to try and make him more comfortable and settled with new people – work that paid off as he was able to find a new home!

Benji’s foster family introduced him to their home slowly so he would be able to settle at his own pace... and they ended up adopting him! Now with continuous support from our Centre Trainer he is progressing brilliantly and loves his new home.

We want to be there for all the dogs like Benji that need our help for many more years to come. If you could help us to do this, we, and all of our Jerry Green dogs, would be so grateful. You can simply TEXT JERRY to 70201 to donate £1 towards our vital work, or perhaps consider sponsoring a kennel at your local centre for just £1 per week. Thank you.
