An update for our valued volunteers. As we strive to consolidate our resources to safeguard the uncertain future of the charity in these unprecedented and difficult times, working with our dedicated teams, we have made the heart breaking decision to permanently close our North Yorkshire Centre. We are sure that you appreciate this was not an easy decision, particularly for a charity who is proud of everything our North Yorkshire Centre and team have achieved. We are also very grateful for the army of dedicated volunteers and supporters who chose to spend their time and their efforts with us. This closure will happen with immediate effect and therefore the Centre will not reopen to the public or our volunteers again. It is a very sad time for all of the charity but our priority is in supporting our dedicated team through this process. As a volunteer of Jerry Green Dog Rescue we are aware this will also remove the physical volunteering opportunity for yourself; every bit of your support and time has been appreciated more than you know and we thank you. We will do all we can to retain relationships across the area and there are opportunities that you may still wish to be involved with, if that is the case, we would love to hear from you. As volunteers and supporters who have been with us on this difficult journey we know you will be saddened to hear this news; we would welcome the continued support of you all in these uncertain times and want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your time, your dedication and commitment, we couldn’t have continued to do what we love for so long without you. Please note, with this announcement the closure is immediate. If you have any questions please email [email protected]
