Raffle Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Jerry Green Dog Rescue Winter Grand Draw 2020. Promoter: Amanda Raworth, Jerry Green Dog Rescue, Central Office, Broughton, Brigg, North Lincolnshire, DN20 0BJ. Jerry Green is a registered charity 1155042. Terms and Conditions:

  • Tickets are not to be sold to, sold by or bought on behalf of anyone under 16 years of age. Any tickets bought by or on behalf of somebody under the age of 16 will be removed from the draw.
  • The raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
  • Participation in this raffle costs £1 per ticket. The maximum number of tickets purchased is one hundred (£100) per draw.
  • Tickets can be purchased by cheque payable to Jerry Green Dog Rescue, debit card or cash. Payment by credit card will not be accepted.
  • Jerry Green Dog Rescue accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible, or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified. No responsibility is taken for raffle tickets and payment lost, delayed or damaged in the post.
  • Any raffle monies received after the closing date will be considered a donation to Jerry Green Dog Rescue.
  • Jerry Green Dog Rescue cannot claim Gift Aid on raffle monies, but Gift Aid can be claimed on donations.

The Draw:

  • Entry by post closes on Monday 14th December 2020. Prize winners will be randomly selected by physical draw on Wednesday 16th December 2020 from all valid entries received by the closing date.
  • There are three cash prizes on offer. The first prize is £1,000, the second prize is £500 and the third prize is £250. The first ticket drawn will win the first prize, the second ticket drawn will win the second prize and the third ticket drawn will win the third prize.
  • Winners will be notified by telephone or in writing no later than two weeks after the draw date using the contact details provided at the time of entry. If no contact is made, the unclaimed prize is held until the next Grand Draw opens. Once this deadline has passed and a new raffle is open, the unclaimed prize may be returned to the raffle fund to support the charity’s work in rescuing dogs.
  • Prize winners will be sent their winnings by cheque in the post or by bank transfer once contact has been made.
