As we are sure you will all be aware, England will be entering a period of severe lockdown measures from Thursday 5th November 2020. Please see below for an update on what this means for the various services our charity offers.

  • Our Charity Shops: Our charity shops in Brigg & Ashby will be closed from Thursday 5th November. Until that time, we are holding a 50% clearance sale in order to raise vital funds for our dogs during this time, if you are able to visit your local store, we would very much appreciate your custom.
  • Rescue & Rehoming in our four centres: From Thursday 5th November we will be operating a virtual rehoming system, as we did towards the end of the first lockdown period, once guidelines allowed. This means we will be able to continue limited rehoming for certain dogs. Unfortunately, some of our dogs require an more extensive Meet & Match adoption process and so we will regrettably have to pause rehoming for these dogs. Intake of dogs will continue, and we will still be taking dogs into our care who need our help. Please call our centre should you need to enquire about rehoming your dog, and the team will talk you through the process, and the extra precautions we are taking during this time.
  • Field Hire: Field hire will continue at all of our centres, as we are able to facilitate this service contact free. All bookings and payments must be made over the phone ahead of time. Please contact your local centre to book.
  • Grooming: Grooming will continue at our Nottinghamshire centre, and is in line with guidance as an animal welfare service, we will have strict additional protocols in place to ensure this service can be delivered safely. Please contact Kim, or the Nottinghamshire centre to make or amend an appointment.
  • Training: We are still able to offer one to one, outdoor, training services at our Nottinghamshire centre, please contact the centre for more information on how we are making this safe, and compliant with the government guidelines. All group classes will unfortunately be postponed.
  • Boarding: Boarding is still available at our North Lincolnshire centre, please contact the team with any queries regarding your booking, they will be able to advise you further on the changes we are making to the service to keep you and our team safe.
  • All four of our centres will be strictly closed to the public, except to those with an appointment for one of the above services. The gates to the centres will be locked, there will be clear instructions of how to alert the team to your arrival so you may proceed with your appointment safely.
  • We remain incredibly grateful for your generous donations of treats, food, toys and bedding for the dogs in our care. Unfortunately, we do not have storage to quarantine donations for the required 72 hours to then be able to put them into our general food and bedding stores. Therefore, regrettably, we will not be able to accept donations to our centres during lockdown. We are looking into the possibility of donation stations, on specific days, to see if we can make this work, so please keep an eye on our social media for updates.

Should you have any queries regarding any of the above, please contact the centre you wish to interact with, all of their details can be found here, or for general enquiries, please email [email protected]. Please do not attend any appointments with any centre if you are experiencing symptoms of Covid 19, or if you have been advised to self isolate by the Track & Trace service. Please call the centre you were booked in with to inform them, and the team will do their best to rearrange your appointment for you.
