At the beginning of every day, our team come into work, not knowing what the day will hold. Some days are bright, full of fresh starts, second chances and love, with dogs heading off, tails wagging, to their happy forever homes. Some days however, are not as bright, with heartbreaking stories, tearful goodbyes and dogs arriving who make us all remember our 'why'. Our little Gracie is one just one of those dogs. Today, Gracie returned from an overnight stay at the vets, having had vital and extensive surgery. Gracie had to have her one of her eyes removed, mammary removal, a full hysterectomy and lots of teeth taken out, as they were beyond repair, and is now waiting for the results of biopsies, with a painful recovery ahead.

Gracie's sad story didn't start there, at ten years old, Gracie should have been settling down to enjoy her senior years, but instead this loving, gentle old soul found herself abandoned and alone. Luckily, she has come into our care and we have given her the chance at a brighter future, however the thing with bad days is they are not rare in rescue, and Gracie is just one of the many dogs we are helping right now. To help show Gracie that she is not alone and we are all behind her, we are asking for you to donate to make sure that dogs like Gracie always have somewhere to go.

In these uncertain times, please help us be there for more dogs like Gracie
