Jerry Green consolidate operations, focussing on the three counties of Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire

A review of the operational scope of the charity in 2011 has led to a consolidation of our operations from 2012 to focus on the three counties of Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.

The five rescue centres in these counties will benefit from refurbishment works to ensure the highest possible welfare standards for the dogs in our care along with a focus on safety for dogs, public and staff. Concentrating the resources of the charity on this area will ensure long term financial sustainability.

Of course this key strategic move has meant that we have had to say a sad goodbye to our centres in Suffolk and Northamptonshire, and our thanks go to all the staff and volunteers that have been involved with these two sites through the years.

The dogs that were resident at Suffolk and Northamptonshire have been relocated to our recue centres in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire from where they will be matched into new homes.

2012 marks a new beginning for Jerry Green Dog Rescue, and we look forward to your help and support as we move into this exciting new chapter. Look out for a new fundraising page on our web site, and details of how you can help join in with our key fundraising campaigns.
