Toby arrived at Jerry Green Dog Rescue in a sorry state. He had clearly been neglected over a long period – certainly for many months at least. He was woefully underweight and had an ear infection. Despite all this he was a cheerful chap but his neglect was serious and the vet decided his ear infection was so deep that his ear would have to be removed. Toby was with us for more than a year. The hard work of our dedicated staff means that he enjoys very good health and has now found a caring person to offer him the loving home he really deserves. Great news!
Getting Toby to his current excellent condition has been expensive with vet’s bills alone running to many hundreds of pounds. And Toby is just one of almost 300 dogs in our care at any one time. Can you spare a little to help dogs like Toby?
A single £1 will feed one of our dogs for a day
£5 will pay for a course of worming treatment
Up to £150 is needed to spay one of our girls to ensure that she has no more unwanted puppies
Every day, we need to find £3,500
Please help us by making a donation, however small. The ways you can do this are explained at the How You Can Help tab at the top of this page.
