Description

Flint is approximately 2 year old German Shepherd Cross who came to us as a stray. He was found in very poor condition, extreamly frightened and had been roaming the streets for weeks before he could be caught. His health and weight has improved but we are still working on his confidence and social skills. Flint is still very unsure of strangers and will need a very understanding and experienced home. We feel at this stage flint will need an adult only gentle, calm home without any children or pets, he will then need time and commitment. Anyone wishing to take on flint must be prepared to work at his pace; you may have to have a long visiting process before he will even respond to you. He is worth all the time and effort and as you can see in the photo, just how affectionate and trusting he can be, if the time and commitment is put in. Trust is the key, without it you have no chance of being his companion or gaining his trust. Please understand if you put in the time and understanding he will make a smashing companion and is worth the commitment but experience of this type of breed and behavior is essential.
