Description
Ben has never mixed with children. He is good with big dogs but bullies small dogs and has never been socialised with cats. He is very powerful and pulls on the lead (would improve with a halti). He has never been let off the lead. He is fine to travel and has no medical problems. Ben needs a large fully secure garden and lots of exercise.
Ben has been with us since April 2008 and is desperately looking for a loving home. He doesn't ask for much as he is very well behaved. He is losing weight from kennel stress and although we give him as much enrichment as possible it is not the same as a loving home. Anyone interested in adopting a large dog is welcome to meet Ben and take him for a walk.

Special Dogs
All dogs are special but some are just more special than others. Sometimes a special dog may be a little older or may not look quite as attractive as others but they still needing caring and loving homes.

We have limited boarding facilities at most of our Rescue Centres (except at Nottinghamshire due to space constraints).
Boarding dogs are kept in designated and separate kennels that are licensed by local authorities. We do not mix dogs from different homes under any circumstances. If you wish to board two dogs at the same time, we will normally be able to keep them together. This is a popular facility and reservations are always advised. Please contact your local Jerry Green Dog Rescue Centre for details.
